1936 - born January 18th, to parents Dr. Ciriaco Santiago, the founder of Manila's Premiere Productions, and his wife Adela Hermoso-Santiago.
1938 - brother Danilo H. Santiago is born 21st October.1943 - sister Digna born on 29th October.
1946 - the Santiagos form Premiere Productions from their studio compound in Grace Park, Caloocan.
1951 - 10th Battalion Sa 38th Parallel Korea (st)
early 50s - trained at Premiere Studios in Caloocan, scripting and cutting trailers. He later attended Ateneo University.
1951-55 - Premiere periodically shuts down due to an ongoing workers' strike over pay. In April 1952 People's Productions are formed to circumvent the legal action 9a good summary can be found HERE). Other family companies also appear: Larry Santiago Productions (Cirio's cousin) in March 1953, and Balatbat's various companies (July 1953). The Premiere brand finally reappears in September 1956, but the off-hoot companies continue.
